Bad Azz, a rapper who was known for his friendship with Snoop Dogg, has died.
The rapper passed away on Monday (November 11) at the age of 43 while he was being held in custody at a detention center on a domestic violence charge, according to TMZ.
Bad Azz, whose real name was Jamarr Antonio Stamps, was arrested on Friday and was scheduled to appear in Court on Tuesday. His bail was set at $10,000 and he had not bailed out, according to records.
It’s not yet clear what happened in the detention center. Bad Azz was being held in Riverside, Calif.
During his music career, Bad Azz collaborated with some of the best in the business and he released four solo albums.
