The nation pretty much lost their chill when David Beckham showed up at Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s wedding looking like he’d walked off a runway.
And it looks like royal occasions bring out the best in him, as Becks brought the sauce to Wimbledon’s Royal Box today and we are impressed.
The 44-year-old took his mum Sandra for a day out at the tennis to watch the Centre Court action, and dressed up for the occasion in a Ralph Lauren tan blazer, pinstriped blue and white shirt and a patterned tie.
Throw in a gingham pocket square and a pair of sunglasses, and we reckon wife Victoria would be more than happy with this styling.
Oh, and then there was the £4,030 Tudor watch he wore on his wrist, ever so casually.
The football legend – who has just celebrated his daughter Harper’s eighth birthday – was seated next to Virgin billionaire Richard Branson and his daughter Holly in the Royal Box, which boasted quite the guestlist today.
Sandra, David, Holly and Richard were seen chatting away in between matches, while Claire Foy – best known for playing the Queen in The Crown – sat beside David’s mum.
Former Prime Minister John Major was one row ahead of the Beckhams and Bransons, with Dame Maggie Smith sitting on the same row.
Meanwhile, Sir Cliff Richard was a row behind David, with Princess Michael of Kent also taking up residency in the box.
It’s another jam-packed day at Wimbledon, with the Centre Court attendees treated to clashes between Serena Williams and Barbora Strycova, Elina Svitolina and Simona Halep and a double’s match between Raven Klaasen and Michael Venus and Juan Sebastian Cabal and Robert Farah.
Plenty more celebs were seen filing into Wimbledon this sunny Thursday as the mixed double quarter-finals, gentleman’s doubles semi-finals and ladies’ singles semi-finals kicked off.
Daisy Lowe was pictured watching the tennis in a summery green dress with boyfriend Cameron McMeikan, while Lily Allen arrived sported a gingham dress with a floral top.
Suki Waterhouse, Oliver Proudlock and Jodie Kidd were also seen entering the grounds.
We’re sure strawberries, cream and champers were enjoyed by all.
