Gabby Barrett Breaks Record For Most Weeks Atop Hot Country Songs Chart By Solo Female

Gabby Barrett‘s “I Hope” has broken the record for most weeks atop Billboard‘s Hot Country Songs chart by a solo female artist.

“I Hope” topped Hot Country Songs chart for a 20th week on the list dated December 19. The song surpasses Maren Morris‘ “The Bones,” for the longest leading Hot Country Songs No. 1 by a solo woman on the chart in its 62-year history.

“Hope” recorded 64.1 million in all-format airplay audience and 8.8 million U.S. streams and sold 4,000 downloads in the latest tracking week, according to Nielsen Music/MRC Data.

Meanwhile, Bebe Rexha continues to hold the title for the woman with the longest-running No. 1 title on the chart, as “Mean To Be,” her collaboration with Florida Georgia Line, ruled the list for 50 weeks in 2017-18.
