Maybe Gwyneth Paltrow should consider one of her jade eggs to help restore her sex life with husband Brad Falchuk.
“So our sex life is over,” Paltrow joked in her Harper’s Bazaar cover story of their decision to move in together. “I thought it was really interesting how resonant that was for people. One of my best friends was like, ‘That is my dream. Don’t ever move in.’”
The Goop founder, 47, and the “Glee” co-creator, 48, married at her house in the Hamptons in September 2018 but didn’t move in together until the following summer.
“I think it certainly helps with preserving mystery and also preserving the idea that this person has their own life,” she told the magazine. “So this is something I’m trying to remain aware of now as we merge together.”
Paltrow and Falchuk, who both have children from previous marriages, took the first year of their marriage to “let the dust settle” with all of the changes happening in their lives, including Paltrow’s ex, Chris Martin, moving on with girlfriend Dakota Johnson.
“I love her,” Paltrow told Harper’s Bazaar of Johnson. “I can see how it would seem weird because it’s sort of unconventional. But I think, in this case, just having passed through it iteratively, I just adore her. I always start to think of the ampersand sign—what else can you bring in, instead of being resistant to or being made insecure by? There’s so much juice in leaning into something like that.”
