Harrison Ford goes low-key on Waitrose food shop after Indiana Jones injury

Harrison Ford kept things super low-key as he was spotted doing a food shop at a local Waitrose.

The 79-year-old is currently taking time out of filming for the upcoming Indiana Jones movie after he picked up an injury on set.

During his time off, the Hollywood legend took the opportunity to run errands in London last week, stocking up on essentials.

He was pictured with his sunglasses on, pushing a trolley of food as he perused the shop for snacks.

Harrison donned a grey T-shirt and jeans for the outing, finishing the look off with shiny brown shoes and those now-iconic sunnies.

Could you imagine shuffling past actual Indiana Jones in the cheese aisle while debating between different brie varieties?

While you can normally find us perusing the wine section, the Fugitive actor went on a different route, inspecting the bagged salad options.

Harrison’s shopping trip comes after he was forced to take time off from the Indy set over an injury to his shoulder.

Disney bosses confirmed that he was rehearsing for a fight scene when he sustained the injury.

Filming for the latest in the action franchise has now been ‘adjusted’ over the ordeal, with the actor recuperating away from production.

However, it is not known when things will restart on the flick, which was originally slated for a 2022 release.

An insider told the Sun: ’After the initial delays everyone was raring to go. But now Harrison is injured and it is worse than first thought.

‘The film’s bosses have come together to work out the scheduling and it’s chaos. The earliest they think they can restart the production is September.

‘It was not what anyone was expecting so to have to change everything is a huge blow. Everyone was concerned for Harrison and they are glad he is on the mend.’

Disney later released a statement, which read: ‘In the course of rehearsing for a fight scene, Harrison Ford sustained an injury involving his shoulder.

‘Production will continue while the appropriate course of treatment is evaluated, and the filming schedule will be reconfigured as needed in the coming weeks.’
