Emmerdale star Charley Webb was left fuming this afternoon after her husband Matthew Wolfenden took a detour on the way to an appointment. The 33-year-old actress, who is best known for playing Debbie Dingle in the long-running ITV soap, took to Instagram to vent her frustration.

Charley spoke to fans via a video upload, which she shared with her 515,000 followers.

She could be seen sitting in her car in a pink fluffy jacket as she documented her outing.

The soap star explained that with only three minutes to go before she was due to be somewhere, her husband, also an Emmerdale star, headed to a coffee shop.

The mum-of-three was so furious, she threatened to leave his car unlocked and make her way to the appointment on time.

“I’ve got an appointment in three minutes,” Charley said to camera.

“It’s probably less than three minutes now and we just pulled up and Matthew went, ‘I’m just going to nip in and grab a coffee’.

“Sorry. Now I’ve got two minutes to get to my appointment and he is stood in a coffee queue, which means that I’m going to be late for my appointment.

“So I think I might just leave the car open and let him get a parking ticket.”

Moments later he was seen strolling back to the car with a cup of coffee in hand.

“Look! Not a care in the world,” she fumed.

“My appointment is in one minute. Actually it’s now.”

“Hate him @matthewwolfenden55,” the actress captioned the footage.

“Have a good one,” Matthew amusingly said as he climbed into the vehicle unaware of her frustration.

Charley and Matthew have been a couple for over a decade and married for three years.

They met on the set of Emmerdale, where Matthew plays the fictional character of David Metcalfe.

They have three sons together Buster, 11, Bowie, five, and Ace, two.

The actress regularly documents the reality of her home life online, much to the delight of fans.

She candidly opens up on the highs and lows of raising a young family, sleepless nights, schooling and all.

Just yesterday she revealed that their youngest son is a “daddy’s boy” and always wants her husband when he wakes.

She said it was in contrast to her older children who wanted their mum at this stage in their development.

“He’s a daddy’s boy. Honestly, the biggest daddy’s boy. They’ve normally all been for me at this age, absolutely not with Ace. Like, just wants Matthew all the time.”(sic)
