Jacqueline Jossa has slammed people who call her 'plus size', despite being a size 12.

The 28 year old, who recently begged fans for help after a "nightmare" morning with a flat tyre while on the school run, appeared on the Lorraine show on ITV to speak about her West End debut before launching into a speech about body positivity.

The former EastEnders actress said while she's not offended by being called plus size, she doesn't think it's healthy for those size 14 and up to compare themselves to a size 12 body.

"It’s a weird one, isn’t it? I am not really offended by plus size, I just don’t really know why it has to be addressed," she explained to 60 year old Lorraine Kelly.

"I just think it’s not really fair for people who are a size 14, 16, 18, living their best lives, that they start then comparing to a size 12 body thinking, ‘but if that’s plus size then what am I?’

"It’s just so ridiculous. Two different size 12s could be a massive difference in actual weight, different in height…It just doesn’t mean anything."

Jacqueline, who recently mocked the TOWIE cast as she put on an Essex accent in a video, said the sizing labels on clothes are not important to her as she added: "I always like to go a bit bigger in jeans because I like a bit of room.”

Earlier in the interview, the star spoke out about how I'm A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! helped her grow her confidence.

She said: “100%…honestly, it was the best thing I have ever done in my whole entire life.

"I would recommend anyone that gets the chance to do it. I am so jealous of the guys that are in there now, they are going to have the best experience of my whole entire life. It has definitely changed me. 100%.”

Jacqueline's praise for the show comes as it was recently reported that she had turned down an offer to re-enter the camp, but will still make an appearance on the programme.

The Queen of the Jungle made such a big impression that ITV reportedly now want her to return and even spend a night in the new setting of Gwrych Castle in Wales before introducing the campmates to a Bushtucker Trial.

However, the brunette beauty has allegedly decided to keep her participation as small as possible as she doesn't "want to steal anyone else's thunder".

A source told The Sun Online: "Jacqueline is really grateful to ITV. But while she was offered the chance to make a cameo she didn’t want to steal anyone else’s thunder.

"She’s had her jungle experience and they should have their own. She accepted the chance to hand over the crown but it’ll be a flying visit. She’ll be there and back in a day."
