Kate Ferdinand has admitted to fans that she’s worried the family will have “forgotten” something as her step-children headed back to school today.
Kate shared stories on Instagram with her fans and admitted that she felt out of practise when it came to the school day after lockdown has meant children have been out of routine for so long.
Sharing a picture on Sunday evening while she cuddled baby Cree, Kate wrote: “The last Sunday before school starts has been a very lazy one. Lots of cuddles today. I love it so much when he holds on like this.”

She continued: “It’s been a day of football, chill and mcds as one last treat for the kids. I’ve moaned A LOT about home school & the kids can’t wait to go back and I can’t wait for some normality but it’s going to be a very quiet house tomorrow… I think deep down I’m going to miss the madness every day… we shall see.”
On Monday morning, Kate admitted she was worried the kids will have forgotten something after being at home so long.
She wrote: “It’s been a while since we have done this, we are all worried we have forgotten something.”
Over the weekend, Kate’s husband Rio praised her for her efforts in homeschooling their children in lockdown.

Rio’s wife Kate, 29, is stepmum to his three children Lorenz, 14, Tate, 12, and Tia, nine, from his marriage to late wife Rebecca Ellison, who tragically passed away in 2015.
Former The Only Way Is Essex star Kate also gave birth to her baby son Cree in December.
And now 42 year old Rio said Kate, who recently admitted she “doesn’t love” her post-baby body, is a “nine out of 10” as a teacher.
Meanwhile, Rio admitted he is a “three out of ten” because of his “lack of patience” and his kids find him a “stern teacher”.
Speaking on online education platform Twinkl, Rio admitted his children have also said he’s “hard” and “grumpy”.
Rio shared his appreciation for teachers across the UK as he said: “I have so much respect for what teachers do. It's a hard job.
“The thing I've noticed is how intense it can be and how the teachers manage it all day and the pressures of managing all these different kids who have different ideas with the ways they want to learn.
“But one of the biggest things we've learnt to respect from teachers is their patience to deal with the kids.
“As a teacher I'm a three out of 10 because of my lack of patience. But Kate – I give her nine out of 10.”
Rio said he has taken inspiration from his old football manager Sir Alex Ferguson for his teaching skills.
He admitted he’s strict and isn’t afraid to put his foot down if his students step out of line during class.
Dad of four Rio,who recently revealed he dyed his beard after it went grey in lockdown, said: “I think I've learned a lot from Sir Alex Ferguson. I've not gone for the soft touch approach.
“It's important to be disciplined with them during the school day, keeping on top of them.
“These are my own kids and I love them, but they can be difficult. You have to give them a bit of leeway but it's important to follow the fine line.”
He added: “We were having dinner and Kate said, ‘tell your dad what you told me the other day’. They didn't want to so Kate said, ‘sometimes you're quite stern, hard and sometimes even grumpy’.”
