Lauren Goodger has slammed the “double standards” on social media over her posting sexy photos of herself online.

The 33 year old reality star regularly posts photos of herself flaunting her incredible curves and questions why she is trolled while Kim Kardashian, who is also known for sharing saucy snaps, is branded a “feminist”.

Lauren, who previously compared herself to Keeping Up With The Kardashians star Kim, said: “Kim posts a topless selfie and she’s a feminist.

“I post a bikini picture and get called an attention seeker. It’s double standards. There is no need for it.

“And calling me a bad role model? I just laugh. I’m Kate Middleton’s favourite Towie star, so I must be doing something right.”

Despite being trolled, Lauren appears to take the criticism on the chin as she told The Sun: “I’m like a rock star, so I’ve got haters. These people aren’t happy. I look at them and think, ‘You must be so deeply unhappy in your life to be making so much of an effort to comment on mine’.

“Deep down, I know it’s jealousy. I don’t care what I say or do, I am who I am and that’s it.”

Lauren was recently slammed for editing her photos, including a throwback snap of her and her father, but the reality star doesn’t see an issue with tweaking snaps.

She said: “Instagram is not real life.

“Editing pictures is something everyone does and there’s no shame in it. I have tweaked pictures before but it’s not a crime. I’m not a murderer. This is Instagram. Get a grip.

“People do photoshoots for magazines and pictures get edited but nothing gets said. That’s why I also post a lot of videos, because you can’t edit how your body looks in a video.

“I get lovely messages every day but I also get abusive messages every day. I laugh at them now because I think it’s pathetic.”

Former The Only Way Is Essex star Lauren was previously slammed after she was secretly filmed agreeing to promote a diet drink containing the poison Cyanide.

However, Lauren said this isn’t the only time she has received backlash for her Instagram promotions.

She explained: “Like most people in the public eye, I get paid a lot of money to promote products I like on Instagram.

“When I post some of them, you’d be stunned at the amount of hate I get. No offence – I’m getting paid to do this, so do me a favour and stop following me if you’re that bothered by it.

"These people don’t know me, so I think it’s funny they’re judging my Instagram.”
