Love Island star Teddy Soares is set to take part in this year's Real Full Monty for charity, and the star's girlfriend, Faye Winter, has opened up about sitting next to his mum while watching filming for the show.
The annual show sees celebrities strip off in order to raise awareness for cancer, with this year's programme being called Strictly The Full Monty by ITV.
Teddy, 26, who met girlfriend Faye, also 26, on this year's Love Island is one of the famous faces set to appear on the show.
Speaking to OK! at ITV's Palooza! event this week, Faye opened up about the awkwardness of sitting next to Teddy's mum as they watched him strip off.
Faye said: "I was sat with his mum! Literally right next to her, and I was like, ‘Are you seeing what I’m seeing?’. It was fine, I was actually more looking around thinking, ‘Right, who else is looking at this right now?’”
Teddy also spoke about the show and how he had "two left feet" when they started filming.
He also joked about it being awkward stripping off in front of his family, telling OK!: “It was difficult. When I first started I had two left feet. I was scared because I knew at the end I had to somehow whip my thing out in front of my lady, my mum, my brothers, everyone was there.”
The pair looked super loved up on the red carpet of the annual ITV event, with Faye wowing in a gorgeous strapless metallic gown that also featured a thigh split.
Teddy looked as handsome as ever, opting for a smart pinstripe jacket.
The pair were recently forced to spend time apart as Faye jetted to Dubai to celebrate her collaboration with Razzl Dazzl Hair.
Fellow Love Islander Demi Jones, 22, will also appear on the The Full Monty this year.
Both stars have touching personal reasons for getting involved in the show. And it’s a case especially close to Demi’s heart after she revealed she had been diagnosed with thyroid cancer in May.
The class of 2021 also includes EastEnders actress Laila Morse, best known as Big Mo, Loose Women star Brenda Edwards, Olympian Colin Jackson and TV presenter Martin Roberts.
They’ll be joined by Strictly Come Dancing’s former husband and wife duo James and Ola Jordan, Blue singer Duncan James and model Christine McGuiness, who is married to TV presenter Paddy.
