Love Islands Faye Winter and Teddy Soares wear matching blue outfits to awards

Love Island's Faye Winter and Teddy Soares hit the red carpet in coordinating outfits at The Mirror's People's Pet Awards 2021 on Thursday night.

The couple were joined by an adorable dog as they made an appearance at the awards ceremony at Grosvenor House last night, 9 December, opting for matching blue outfits after they recently celebrated moving into their first property together.

Faye, 26, wore two-toned blue tailored trousers with a cropped white blouse that featured a plunging neckline.

The blonde beauty kept her make-up glamorous with full lashes and a shiny nude lip with her hair worn in casual waves and accessorised her look with high heels that featured a chain detail at the ankle.

Meanwhile, Teddy, 26, wore black trousers and slip-on trainers alongside a smart jacket that matched Faye’s outfit, as the couple held hands on the red carpet.

The couple were joined by a sweet guide dog labrador at the event, which recognises inspiring pets that have helped humans.

Faye and Teddy recently updated fans on their home renovation after the couple spoke of their plans to give their new home a makeover following their departure from the villa this summer.

However, things almost took a turn for the worse after an oven mishap led to Faye nearly “burning down the house”.

In a new YouTube video, the couple shared how they’d ordered pizza and Faye had decided to heat it up by putting it in the oven… while still in its cardboard box.

Faye said, laughing: "He went to the shop and I put the pizza in the oven and I went upstairs and I could smell burning and I thought wow, I really hope that's the candle."

"I'll give her the benefit of the doubt though because I'm sure everyone puts the cardboard in the oven," Teddy added.

Faye said she didn't know what to do, so resorted to chucking water in the oven and called Teddy crying.

Luckily, their lovely new home is intact after the near disaster and Faye admitted it was "the worst thing that had happened" since they'd moved in.

Teddy recently opened up to OK! about the couple’s new living arrangements, joking that Faye was a “neat freak”.

He added: “It's very similar to how it was in the villa but less intense. We are like two peas in a pod, we've taken it each day as it comes.

"The biggest pain is deliveries for furniture and trying to get the house feeling like home…"
