Love Island’s Molly-Mae Hague responds to rumours she’s in therapy over trolling as she and boyfriend Tommy Fury open up on Anton Danyluk feud — EXCLUSIVE

Molly-Mae Hague has broken her silence on rumours she is receiving therapy after struggling to deal with trolls after Love Island.

The 20 year old and her boyfriend Tommy Fury, also 20, discussed life after the hit ITV2 show in an exclusive interview and photoshoot with OK! magazine.

Responding to the rumours, Molly-Mae says: “I’ve been having the same [post-Love Island] after-care as everyone else.

“I’ve taken the support that ITV provided and it’s helped. People keep sending messages like: ‘Pray for Molly-Mae, I hope she’s okay,’ but I’m literally sat here loving my life. I’m so happy, nothing can burst my bubble; what the public think is irrelevant.”

Discussing the backlash she’s received online, the social media influencer added: “I knew I was going to get my fair share of hate but I didn’t know it would be to this extent.

“To be called fake and all these horrible names like ‘Money-Mae’ when I haven’t actually done anything wrong was a shock. It is hard to hear.

“I did [read the negative comments] at the start but then I had to stop; I think it’s best not to.

“Some of the stuff that’s been said about me is pretty vile. There are death threats, which really isn’t nice.”

Her doting boyfriend Tommy also opens up on how hard it is to see Molly-Mae receive negative comments, adding: “Whatever she goes through, I go through.

“It’s horrible. I hate seeing Molly get trolled. I think people are jealous. I’ve been living with her for the past two months and she’s the most genuine and nicest girl I’ve ever met.”

The pair also discuss Molly-Mae’s feud with fellow islander Anton Danyluk, who unfollowed her on Instagram shortly after leaving the villa.

Tommy says: “We all went through this experience together so why shouldn’t we all be friends? On my part, there is no bad blood but it’s not nice that someone has called my girlfriend fake when she’s clearly not.”

Molly-Mae added: “Everyone has seen that I’ve been getting quite a lot of backlash and hate online, so for him to then add fuel to the fire was quite shocking.

“I know Tommy would never do that to [Anton’s girlfriend] Belle [Hassan] if she was in this situation, because he’s not that type of person.

“I think it showed more about him than anyone else. It’s a shame that this has happened. It was unnecessary. I want to be able to support everyone who was on the show. We all did this together.”
