Mark Wright and Michelle Keegan were spotted heading out for a dinner date together in Cheshire on Sunday evening.

The couple, who are planning on building a granny flat next to their Essex mansion, enjoyed a dinner at Piccolino restaurant before heading home.

Michelle, 33, wore a figure-hugging green top which she paired with some flared denim jeans.

She opted for a chunky suede coat with cream panels and carried a white clutch handbang with her.

The actress had her locks in a curly style and decided on a minimal make-up look with a nude lip to show off her natural beauty.

Meanwhile, Mark, 34, wore a smart navy jacket with a gold zip, which he paired with some grey jeans and white trainers.

He had a watch on his wrist and had his hair slicked back in a wet-look style with hair product.

The couple's outing comes after Michelle opened up about the pair previously spending time apart while working in different countries.

The former Coronation Street star divulged details about their long-distance relationship and said it was a positive thing for their marriage.

The pair were forced apart when Mark took a presenting job in the US on showbiz channel Extra in 2017.

Michelle was also filming BBC's Our Girl, where she was based in Southeast Asia, and would often fly to LA to visit husband Mark.

“People, especially the media at the time, were turning it into a negative that I was working away and Mark was working in LA,” Michelle told Irish comedian Mairead Doyle on her podcast, Craic On.

“We were both seeing the positive side to it. We were both doing what we love to do and then coming together in an amazing place because we could. For some reason, the media thought it was a negative.”

The Northern lass, who previously stunned in a casual outfit, went on to say that while they both loved the LA lifestyle, they felt homesick.

“It was actually really nice. I feel like we’ve done that, we’ve ticked it off our list to live out there, we’ve done it, we’ve lived the LA life and it was brilliant.

“But we both missed home. It was more Mark’s decision really because obviously he was the one working out there."
