Peter Andre’s wife, Emily Andrea, has opened up about once considering donating her breast milk.
The 29 year old opened up about her decision in her exclusive column with OK! magazine.
Emily, who has two children with husband Pete, said breast milk is a huge cost to the National Health Service.
She wrote: “It’s fantastic to hear Lily Allen has donated her breast milk to the NHS to help premature babies.
“It’s such a good thing to do because it costs the NHS an absolute fortune to buy great milk – it’s hundreds of pounds a litre.
“Breast milk is so important in helping prevent health conditions in premature babies.”
Emily, who is a trained doctor, continued: “It’s something I thought about doing but at the time I didn’t have quite enough milk.
“I actually found some of my breast milk in the freezer the other day and was really sad I couldn’t use it because it only keeps for six months.”
Emily may get another chance to donate breast milk, if she and Pete can decide if they’ll have another baby or not.
She said: “Becoming a parent is an amazing feeling and it was lovely to celebrate a new life coming into the world.
"We both love big families but are both happy with how we are at the moment. As far as another child’s concerned, Pete changes his mind every day."
