EXCLUSIVE: So that’s how he got out of Wrexham so quickly! Ryan Reynolds uses his millions to charter £100K private jet to fly from Manchester to New York to reunite with wife Blake Lively just NINE hours after club win
Ryan Reynolds didn’t even have time to enjoy a celebratory pint after Wrexham’s win on Monday as he was back home in New York holding hands with wife Blake Lively just nine hours after the referee blew the full-time whistle.
MailOnline can reveal the Hollywood superstar, 46, charted his own £100,000 flight from Manchester airport to Teterboro shortly after watching his side beat Notts County in a pulsating clash at the Racecourse Ground on Easter Monday.
In the build up to the game, Ryan flew to London from New York before travelling to Chester airport via helicopter and heading to The Racecourse Ground via a chauffeur driven car.
He intends to return back to the UK ahead of Wrexham’s away clash against Barnet on Saturday, splashing out more money to support the Welsh side he co-owns with fellow actor Rob McElhenney, 45, as they look to achieve promotion to the Football League from the Vanarama National League.
A source told MailOnline: ‘Ryan is totally dedicated to Wrexham and the club’s success this season; he wants to see them promoted.

A source told MailOnline that Ryan is ‘totally dedicated’ to the football club but is also a family man so flying private jet is the ‘only viable option’
‘He knows him being there gives the team the support they need at such a crucial point so is putting in the travel time to ensure they reach this goal.
‘But he’s also a family man and given his status, flying via private jet to also be there for Blake and their children is the only viable option.’
Splashing out on £100,000 for a private jet is small change for the Canadian actor, whose business ventures including having a stake in T-Mobile, have seen him earn millionaire status.
As well as earning millions for his starring film roles, he also banked significant coin selling his ownership in beverage company Diageo for an estimated $610million, as well as co-founding production company Maximum Effort, which has successfully produced viral advertisements.
He purchased football club Wrexham in 2020 for a reported $2.76million deal and has seen success with the team, hoping to secure a promotion this year from The Vanarama National League to League Two.
Following Wrexham’s win on Monday, Ryan spoke about the adrenaline rush he experienced watching the game, telling a reporter on the pitch, ‘I don’t feel like I have a heart anymore.
‘I feel like I used all the beats that I had left during that match. That was unlike anything I’ve ever seen before and indicative of course of all you lifers who have watched and participated in this game, this beautiful, tortuous game forever.
‘I am actually grateful in this moment that I didn’t care about this years ago because it would have just eaten me alive… that was really something.’

The Crown’s Emma Corrin attended the game on Easter Monday, smiling for a photograph alongside Ryan, who described the Netflix star as a ‘new addition to the family’
He admitted to being ‘hooked’ to the game, saying ‘it’s troubling how hooked I am… usually I am not at a loss for words, but I am genuinely at a loss for words in this moment.’
The actor also said he felt an ‘immense sense of pride’ watching his team, reflecting on the ‘inner strength’ from the players, who he says, ‘rose to the occasion.’
Ryan has been attracting an A-list crowd at the Welsh football club, with The Crown star Emma Corrin in attendance at Monday’s game.
Posing for a photograph together, Ryan called Emma, who played Princess Diana in season five of the Netflix show, a ‘new addiction to the family.’

They live in a £4.5million mansion in New York with their children but the actor has reportedly purchased a house in the Welsh village of Marford, which is nearby to Wrexham.
The £1.5million four-bedroom property will hopefully give the star a base for when he’s visiting the football club given it is located five miles from the ground.
