The 1975 frontman Matty Healy impressed fans with a sneak peek into his incredible collection of vintage guitars.
Healy showed his collection in a series of Instagram Stories. His collection includes a 1964 Fender Jaguar in Seafoam Green, a 1958 sunburst Stratocaster, a 1963 Jazzmaster (used by The Ramones and David Byrne), and a Gibson ES-330 (used by Blondie).
“We at The 1975 and myself in particular are incredibly into and excited by cultural artifacts of the 20th Century!” Healy explained on Instagram.
“This mainly consists of punk and counter-cultural memorabilia/clothing literat[ure] and guitars,” he added. “Due to people asking me for inspo etc I will share on here some of our favourite collectibles and help you find similar stuff!”
Meanwhile, the 1975 have been shortlisted for the Mercury Prize 2019 for their recently released album, A Brief Inquiry Into Online Relationships.
The band are also set to release their upcoming fourth studio album, Notes on a Conditional Form, on February 21, 2020, through Dirty Hit and Polydor Records.
