The Chase host Bradley Walsh has said that he wouldn't be where he is without the sacrifices his wife made.
In an interview from 2006, that was unearthed earlier this year, the 58-year-old presenter has hailed his wife of nearly 22 years as the main factor in him achieving so much success on television.
Speaking to The Mirror thirteen years ago, Bradley said that Donna Derby, his choreographer wife, had urged him to take a role on Coronation Street , when he was dithering over auditioning.
Filming for the ITV soap would have forced them apart for lengthy periods, while they had a young family.
Bradley said that without her devoting herself to parenthood, thus putting her own career on hold, he believes he wouldn't have been able to make the steps on TV that he made.
They married in 1997 and have two children, Barney and Hayley Walsh.
