Alicia Keys and Swizz Beatz Give Intimate Tour of $20 Million USD California Mansion

Alicia Keys and Swizz Beatz recently took Architectural Digest on a tour of their contemporary, Tony Stark-inspired mansion overlooking the Pacific Ocean.

The music power couple partnered with AD100 designer Kelly Behun to craft the interior of their stunning cliffside mansion. The house, known as the Razor House was built by architectural designer Wallace E. Cunningham. The 11,000 square-foot residence resembles Iron Man’s own futuristic bachelor pad. Swizz Beatz revealed that he had the screensaver of his phone set to the photo of the house for years and one day in 2019, the home came on the market and he and his wife were able to jump on the opportunity.

The couple’s home features ample different influences including modern and wooden pieces that come together to bring a sense of natural warmth to the contemporary home. In their dining room area, vintage Afra & Tobia Scarpa chairs surround the custom dining table that sits in front of a Derrick Adams painting on the back wall. Other antique artifacts help to bring the home to life including an early 20th century Baga Nimba ceremonial shoulder mask.

Following the Tony Stark theme, the garage could be fit for a superhero, featuring a lit cement tunnel that goes underground to where the couple’s three Ferraris sit (ENZO, LaFerrari, and SF90). The estate also features an infinity pool that follows the curve along with the property.

Swizz Beatz and Alicia Key’s prominent art collection are seen displayed across the home. A selection of Africam American and African artists ranging from Kehinde Wiley and Lynette Yiadom-Boakye to Barkley L. Hendricks and Henry Taylor, is seen portrayed throughout the rooms. Amongst their collection is the largest private collection of Gordon Parks images. Keys said, “It really feels like he’s a grandfather to us. To be able to keep his collection together and for it to live in the home of Black artists is really very emotional for me.”
