CAFÉ A.P.C. Arrives in South Korea

The first CAFÉ A.P.C. in South Korea is opening in a massive new Lotte Department Store in Dongtan, Hwaseong, a concentrated township to the south of Seoul. The coffee shop is designed by Lauren Deroo Architecte and features a harmonious mesh of natural-toned wood and steel.

The shop sits in a dodecagonal shape with 12 wooden panels surrounding the large marble counter in the center. A range of homemade desserts and beverages was specially created for the South Korean CAFÉ by A.P.C founder Jean Touitou and his son Pierre Touitou (a renowned chef in Paris). Menu items include a soothing Fennel Tea which Jean and his daughter enjoyed during their summer vacation, and special Mont Blanc and Apple Crumble desserts from the Tuitou family recipe. Exclusive CAFÉ A.P.C. merchandise such as T-shirts, mugs, and coffee grounds will also be on sale.

CAFÉ A.P.C  is now open and runs daily from 10:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m KST.
