Swarovski Launches Marvel Superhero Collection

Swarovski has launched its debut collection with Marvel, introducing a series of crystal figures and accessories paying tribute to fan-favorite characters including Hulk, Iron Man, Spider-Man, Black Panther, and Captain Marvel.

“Stan Lee was a master storyteller,” Swarovski creative director Giovanna Engelbert, said in a statement. “He has given the world some incredibly influential and exciting super heroes, so it has been a genuine honor to delve into these Marvel favorites and express their individual qualities with our crystals.”

The series includes a set of approximately 5-inch tall figures featuring Hulk, Iron Man, Black Panther, and Spider-Man rendered in full color with between 578 to 955 facets. Shining a light on Swarovski’s master cutting expertise and craftsmanship, the figures are brought to life in exquisite detail. Taking things a step further is the Limited-Edition Spider-Man display piece which is set with more than 32,000 crystals. Seen hanging upside-down on a New York streetlamp, the figurine took 233 hours to complete and is delivered in a premium suitcase. Complimentary accessories include a range of pendants, bracelets, rings, and stickers.

“Swarovski is proud to collaborate with Marvel to unite two beloved brands for an iconic jewelry and home collection,” Peter Widmann, Head of B2B, collaboration & licensing at Swarovski, said in a statement. “Both brands have a rich heritage, long-standing legacy, and are loved by customers all around the world – making this the perfect collaboration.”

The full collection is now available online and at select Swarovski locations. Prices range from $85 USD for the stickers to $23,000 USD for the Limited-Edition Spider-Man figure.

In other news, Ye’s Maison Margiela Yeezus tour mask is on sale for $50,000 USD.
