An Amazon user shared a funny exchange between her and a delivery guy who went on to leave her parcel in her ‘bucky bin’.
The Scottish woman, named as Lumsgame on Reddit, shared the text which showed he tried to deliver a package while she was at work and asked her what her safe place was.
When she asked him to leave it in her recycling bin, he replied that he left it in her ‘bucky’ bin – as it was filled with numerous empty bottles of buckfast wine.
Posting the funny messages on Reddit people loved the funny exchange, which had nearly 500 commnets, and users were quick to comment about her buckfast bottles and how sweet the delivery guy was.

The exchange started when he text to say: ‘Hi there, its Stephen from Amazon, I tried to deliver your parcel but no answer and no neighbour to take in, tried calling to see if you had a safe space I could leave it but no answer.’
Replying she said: ‘Hi Stephen. I’m at work at the moment – won’t be home until after 6pm. If you are in that area again just stick the parcel in the glass recycle bin at the end of my driveway with 86 on it. Thanks x’
Later on that day she got a message from Stephen which said ‘parcels in the bucky bin’ – with an emoji on it.
Laughing about it, using emoji’s, she replied thanking him.
Posting the funny messages on Reddit people loved the funny exchange and users were quick to comment about her buckfast bottles and how sweet the delivery guy was.
Those on Reddit loved the text and applauded the driver, with one saying: ‘Stephen is the real MVP. Still delivering over an hour after the original text.’
While one said that Stephen was going above and beyond: ‘Right? My delivery people won’t even ring the doorbell. Just chuck it on the porch and they’re off.
Others commented on her wine bottles, joking: ‘I’m amazed someone who drinks that much bucky can write coherent sentences. That’s someone who could take down Captain America and still make it to the bar for last orders.’

Other went on to talk about the drivers: ‘Amazon drivers tend to do that, at least in my area they often try again the same day if they don’t get you the first time.
‘Always makes me feel bad if I’ve missed them, I assume they get some penalty for missing the delivery and that’s why they’re so persistent…
While others complained: ‘That is pretty cool. FedEx likes to leave $3,000+ packages on my porch for 6 hours. They left my brand new bike in a giant CANYON box on front of my garage an entire day while I was at work.
‘They’ve left laptops that I’ve ordered without brown boxes. Just an ASUS ROG box on the steps.’
