Becoming a new mum can be one of the most exciting experiences to go through.
However, what also comes with this is the stress and expectations that some feel from social media pressures.
Whether it’s to lose those extra pregnancy pounds, or generally keeping up appearances when even washing hair can be a struggle. There’s no denying it can be a challenging time.

George at Asda are encouraging new mums or mums to be to not feel ashamed of their pregnancy bodies with the launch of their new maternity campaign.
In the campaign we see a range of gorgeous pre and post-pregnant women who are breaking down these stigmas.
Opening up and sharing their experiences, these incredible women aren’t just an inspiration to only mums-to-be but every woman out there who feels the need to look a certain way.
One lady that features in the campaign is Kelly Knox who said: “When I was pregnant with my son Jenson, I read an article about when you become a mother, you’ll have to learn to do everything with one hand.
“I’ve had one hand all my life, I didn’t find this scary at all – I thought to myself, I am one step ahead”
Kelly brilliantly proves that having a disability isn’t always an obstacle, instead it shows true strength and courage.
The campaign runs alongside the brand's new maternity collection which offers stylish, comfortable clothing for all of your pregnancy needs.
From cosy loungewear sets to wardrobe essentials like stretchy and elasticated waist jeans, you don’t have to worry about sacrificing your style for comfort.
