‘I earn £15,000 a month by not shaving, but trolls call me gross and unhygienic

A model who was been branded “unhygienic” for refusing to shave by trolls is now earning a fortune after embracing her natural beauty.

Cherry is a 26-year-old OnlyFans model from Seattle, Washington who has sparked controversy after she decided to post pictures of herself in bikinis with her body hair showing on her TikTok and Instagram accounts under the username @ittybittycherie.

She often deals with negative comments from men on social media calling her “gross and unhygienic” but has confessed that it does not bother her as her job has allowed her to travel the world, and has said on social media she earns thousands of dollars a month by not shaving.

In an interview with the Daily Star, Cherry said: “I don’t let them get to me, the controversy sparks curiosity and I get paid on TikTok now for views longer than five seconds.

“The joke is kind of on them, because if they’re taking the time to comment I’m getting paid for it.”

Cherry has said she earns up to £15,588 ($20,000) a month through OnlyFans, and decided to stop shaving eight months ago when a fan offered by thousands to not shave ever again.

In one Instagram post, Cherry said: “You guys may think I’m ugly for being hairy but I make 20k a month not to shave.”

However, with the money comes notoriety and Cherry is often subjected to cruel comments regarding her decision to have body hair. In one of Cherry’s most popular Instagram posts, the top comment said: “One word, ‘Shave’!!” while another comment said: “Use a razor please.”

Cherry explained that the comments she receives are “mostly guys (and some girls too) telling me to shave, calling me gross and unhygienic, that I look like I smell.”

She added: “Men seem to have this idea that when women have hair it’s unhygienic, but when they have it it’s just normal and fine. Sometimes I try to encourage them to do some research and discover it’s actually less hygienic to shave.

“Having razor burn sucks and I refuse to experience that ever again just so a man can feel a ‘prepubescent’ smooth vagina. I think it’ll only be normalized when more women start doing it [not shaving].”

Cherry admitted that there has been a lot of positivity from women and that it “makes [her] feel really good” to hear from female fans who believe Cherry is representing them.

She said: “Hairless does not equal beautiful,” Cherry voiced. If anything it’s f***ing creepy that men expect us to be hairless.

“We’re adult women and we grow hair, there’s no reason to hide that other than society’s expectations, and I don’t really care about them.

“I have girls ask me all the time how I wear a bikini, what to explain to a guy, etc.

“Honestly, my advice is to just go about it as if everything is normal. It’s your body and it’s beautiful just the way it is.”
