I begged Mum to let me grow my hair long and to buy me skirts and dresses like my sister wore.
But my parents were very traditional. In their eyes, boys are meant to like blue and play football.
It was only once I got to university that I started experimenting with my identity.
At first I thought I was just into cross-dressing. But now I realise it’s much more than that.

I am yet to tell my friends and family because I’m not sure how they’ll react.
