Michelle Keegan has given a glimpse inside the surprise 60th birthday party for her mum.
The Brassic actress, 34, who recently enjoyed a seaside staycation with her husbandMark Wright, 34, gave a sneak peek inside the gorgeous celebrations for her mum, Jackie Thornton, to commemorate the milestone occasion.
Michelle revealed how the plans were 'so last minute' but managed to pull off the ultimate summer garden bash with the help of a party planning company.
The brunette beauty opted for a yellow sunflower theme with a huge white balloon arch decked with blooms and a huge light-up six and zero.
Meanwhile a huge canopy was set up and fitted with outdoor heaters in the sprawling, leafy garden.
We can also see a beautiful two-tiered naked cake, which has a thin layer of buttercream to expose the sponge, decorated with the gorgeous yellow flowers.
The guests were also treated to delicious cocktails served by The Occasion Bar Co with Michelle taking a snap of her refreshing beverage topped with mint leaves.
In true party style, Michelle posed up a storm with her friends in a fun photo booth that featured hilarious props such as wigs and signs.
Michelle also organised live music courtesy of Callum J Wright who played acoustic versions of popular songs including Justin Bieber's hit Sorry.
The actress also shared the sweet moment that her mum was surprised by the party and posted a snap of the pair embracing, captioned: "Only mum would turn up to her party in slippers – she didn't have a clue."
Later, Michelle shared a heartwarming picture of her husband Mark with their adorable Chihuahua Pip as he sat in the conservatory.
It comes after the Heart Radio presenter recently spoke out against criticism of his marriage to Michelle and insisted: "Nobody needs to know how much Michelle and I see each other."
The couple have famously gone long periods of time without seeing each other throughout their six-year marriage due to their busy careers.
In 2018, Mark was busy working in LA as a host on Extra while Michelle spent months filming around the world for the BBC drama, Our Girl.
Speaking in an interview with The Sun on Sunday, Mark said: "We always make it work. It’s just a lot of travelling really, up and down the motorway. We both work hard, she works hard, there are no rules in life, are there? I might see her for five days, go to work for a day then see her for another five.
“We see each other plenty, people don’t need to worry about that."
