Liz Hurley’s lookalike son Damian models HUGE hair in beauty campaign

Liz Hurley’s 17-year-old son Damian is the spitting image of his mother as he makes his modeling debut in a beauty campaign, showing off a picture-perfect pout while posing with HUGE hair and glowing highlighter

  • The teenage model stars alongside a cast of up-and-coming models in a campaign for celebrity beauty guru Pat McGrath’s new foundation range
  • Damian is signed with TESS Management in London, the same agency that looks after his mother, as well as Suki Waterhouse and Georgia May Jagger
  • Pat’s new campaign for her Skin Fetish: Sublime Perfection The System range was shot by legendary photographer Steven Meisel
  • As well as Damian, the campaign features Sonjdra Deluxe, Violet Chachki, Zhengyang Zhang, Shanelle Nyasiase, Blesnya Mihner, and Primrose Archer

Elizabeth Hurley’s model son Damian has certainly inherited his mother’s cool confidence in front of the camera – at least if his first beauty campaign is anything to go by.

The long-haired 17-year-old makes a stand-out impression in a bold new video ad for celebrity makeup artist Pat McGrath’s latest launch, looking almost identical to his mother while showing off his incredible cheekbones and impressive pout.

Posing in a simple ensemble of a leather jacket and white T-shirt, Damian is seen turning this way and that in front of the camera – which was being held by legendary fashion photographer Steven Meisel – while modeling a huge hairstyle and a glowing highlighter that further defines his naturally sculpted face.

Spot the difference: Liz Hurley’s 17-year-old son Damian looks just like his famous mother as he stars in a new beauty campaign for celebrity makeup artist Pat McGrath

Strong star: The campaign, which promotes the beauty guru’s new foundation range, is Damian’s first official foray into the world of professional modeling

Work it! In the video, Damian is seen turning this way and that in front of the camera while showing off some glowing highlighter and an incredible bouffant hairstyle

Keep it cool: He also stares down the camera with his famously bright blue eyes, which are just like his mother’s

The teenager’s long brunette hair has been teased into an enormous bouffant which further adds to his incredibly glamorous appearance.

And despite the campaign serving as his first foray into life as a professional model, Damian appears totally natural in front of the lens, having clearly learnt some skills from his 54-year-old mother along the way.

Bright blue eyes and a fierce confidence in front of the camera is not the only thing Damian shares with his mother; the duo are both signed with the same London-based modeling agency, TESS Management, which also looks after the likes of Suki Waterhouse and Georgia May Jagger.

Liz has also worked with Meisel on a few occasions over the years, including on her cover shoot for American Vogue back in May 1998, four years before Damian was even born.

The pair are certainly known to be incredibly close, and their striking resemblance has been wowing fans for years; in November 2018, social media went wild over the remarkable similarities between the two after they both shared similar photos of themselves during a getaway in Hertfordshire.

In the images, both mother and son were sitting separately on a swing, with their faces angled up towards the camera to show off the same piercing blue eyes, full pout, and long brunette locks.

And people couldn’t get over just how similar the Damian, whose father is American businessman Steve Bing, and his mother looked, with one person writing on Twitter: ‘They are morphing into one.’

However, while Damian is perhaps the best known name in Pat McGrath Labs’ new campaign, which promotes her new skin system, a range of three products designed to give people of all ages and races the perfect catwalk-worthy complexion.

Pat enlisted a group of young stars to feature in the video, with Damian joined by Sonjdra Deluxe, Violet Chachki, Zhengyang Zhang, Shanelle Nyasiase, Blesnya Mihner, and Primrose Archer, all of whom were shot by fashion favorite Meisel.

‘To realize a campaign with Steven Meisel is a monumental moment – and an incredible visual culmination of my body of work,’ celebrity makeup artist Pat said of the campaign launch.

‘To have Meisel’s fierce and disruptive aesthetic, eye for fresh talent, and prolific, unparalleled approach to beauty is a dream come true. It is an honor and a privilege to introduce my first foundation skin system to the world via a campaign by the legendary Meisel.

‘Working with our amazing cast including Sonjdra, Damian, Violet, Zheng, Shanelle, Blesnya and Primose, has been simply magical and made this set so fun and easy – being surrounded by a luminary lineup of divine beauties who are McGrath Muses.’

McGrath, 49, is renowned in the beauty industry for creating near-perfect complexions on her clients, whether they are a celebrity walking the red carpet, or a model preparing to strut her stuff on the catwalk, so the news that she was releasing a foundation was met with glee from beauty lovers when it was announced last month.

And now the beauty pro is bottling up her years of experience in one brilliant formula, which she confessed took a staggering 25 years to perfect, and was secretly used on a number of Pat’s A-list clients before being unveiled to the world – including Cardi B and Kacey Musgraves at this year’s Met Gala.

All-star cast: Pat’s new campaign features a host of famous faces, including drag queen Violet Chacki, who is best known for winning season seven of RuPaul’s Drag Race

Pucker up: Models Primrose Archer (left) and Shanelle Nyasiase (right) also feature in the video campaign, which was shot by legendary fashion photographer Steven Meisel

In fact, one member of Pat’s team of makeup artists confessed that the formula so impressed one anonymous celebrity when it was used on her at the glittering annual event that she tried to steal it, having been told that there were no samples available.

The beauty pro revealed that the mysterious A-lister in question was particularly bowled over by how well the product lasted on her skin throughout the night, with her makeup artist admitting that even he was impressed by the fact that the foundation not only stood the test of time, but actually seemed to get better the longer it was worn.

‘It looked like her skin but she was… cooked,’ he said of the foundation’s impressive wear time. ‘She was so, so happy and tried to attack me and take it!’

Luckily, said celebrity won’t have to wait too much longer until the foundation is ready to be dropped into the hands of desperate makeup mavens – and that’s not the only complexion-perfecting product that will be released on July 26.

The Pat McGrath Labs Sublime Perfection Foundation ($68) is part of a new complexion-perfect ‘system’ of three products, which also includes a primer and a powder.

And as well as helping your skin to look better, the foundation is also aimed at ensuring it feels better too; the formula contains a ‘Vita-Serum Complex’, which helps to protect the skin’s natural barrier and guard against the signs of aging.

The product has also been formulated with hyaluronic acid, which helps to keep skin hydrated and plump, even after hours of wear time. It can be applied with fingers – Pat’s favored tool – for a lightweight, effortless look, or with a brush or a sponge in order to create a heavier layer of coverage.

Star power: YouTube star Sonjdra Deluxe also landed a spot in the video, modeling pink hair and dazzling earrings alongside a fierce makeup look

Stretch it out: Male model Zhengyang Zhang was captured wearing a pair of high-waisted black trousers and a fierce looking bunny mask

Catwalk star: Blesnya Mihner, who has worked for huge brands including Miu Miu and Louis Vuitton, rounds out the all-star cast of campaign models

‘Diamond Core Powder Technology improves skin texture by optically smoothing and blurring the appearance of fine lines and imperfections,’ the brand explained in a statement.

‘An illuminating soft-focus pigment blended into the formula converts and scatters light, emulating the effect of a healthy young complexion.

‘The serum-soft, customisable foundation unites a filtered, blurring effect and incandescent radiance with impressive versatility. Apply with the fingertips for the ultimate barely-there look, or with a brush or wet sponge to achieve Pat’s legendary backstage skin.’

In order to truly achieve that catwalk-worthy complexion however, Pat recommends using the new foundation as part of the full three-step system: Sublime Perfection Primer ($60), followed by the foundation, topped off with the Sublime Perfection Setting Powder ($55).

According to Pat and her team, the trio of products works as the perfect combination to maintain a glowing, healthy, flawless complexion throughout the day – and will not cake or flake if you choose to apply more product as time goes on.

With regard to shade ranges, Pat explained at a launch event for the new complexion system that she worked hard to create a range of shades that will work for any and every skin tone, and she noted that she didn’t feel the need to release ’50 shades or 100 shades like other brands’, because she knows that the collection she has is more than enough to work for anyone who might want to try the product.

Indeed, the launch of the new product range comes just weeks after Pat revealed in an interview that she and her mother used to use cocoa powder on their faces because they couldn’t find a product dark enough for their skin.

Easy as one, two, three: Pat, 49, spent 25 years working on the perfect foundation formula, and has now released it as part of a three-step ‘system’ that promises a catwalk-worthy complexion

Wow! Pat, who has worked with Naomi Campbell for years, explained that she ensured she was creating 36 shades that would suit any and every skin tone out there

A-list: The beauty guru has perfected the complexions of dozens of stars, including Kim Kardashian, who featured in a beauty campaign for her before launching her own brand

The beauty mogul told BBC Radio 4 that she would regularly borrow her mothers products, in particular her lipsticks and skincare products, when she was growing up.

She explained that one day when she was younger, her mother wore cocoa powder on her face as a form of powder foundation as a solution to the lack of products available for black skin at the time.

Pat said: ‘She even used cocoa powder, she came in from the kitchen with cocoa powder all over her face, and she was like, “This is the right tone of powder.”

‘And she had dusted it on her face and she looked amazing.

‘So that’s what I ended up doing as well, was making products that I needed backstage.

‘That stems from my mother, if you can’t find it, you can’t buy it, make it,’ she added.

So when it came to creating the shades for her foundation, Pat used all her years of experience working in the industry to ensure that there really would be something for everyone.

And to make finding your perfect shade that much easier, the 36 options are grouped into five levels: Light, Light Medium, Medium, Medium Deep, Deep. Meanwhile the powder is available in five shades – one to suit each level.

All three products in the system will be released to the world on July 26 – along with both a foundation and a powder brush.

But for those who can’t wait to lay their hands on a new Pat McGrath Labs product, the makeup artist just released a new collection of lipsticks called Blitztrance, a shimmering range of nine shades that are available individually, in trios, and as one complete set.
