SHIVER ME TIMBERS

ARGOS shoppers can snap up a bargain for the garden as the retailer has reduced the price of its inflatable pirate paddling pool that doubles as a ball pit to £12.50.

It normally costs £25 so you're saving half the cash, plus the adventure ship looks like a lot of fun.

There is a super-sprayer water cannon that attaches to standard garden hoses so you can keep other pirates at bay.

Two inflatable swords are included and can be used to fight for treasure.

And if you don't want to paddle around you can fill the ship with play balls for dry-land fun.

The pirate ship is perfect for children aged two and over.

It is easy to inflate and the drain valve makes it straightforward to clear away the water.

In comparison, Lidl is selling a pirate adventure inflatable paddling pool but it costs £35 – nearly three times the price.

Lidl's version also comes with inflatable swords – plus cannon balls that pirate wannabes can pretend to shoot out of a cannon.

These are the only two pirate-themed inflatables we could find online but Aldi has an inflatable dinosaur paddling pool for £30.

If it's still Argos' version you're after, you can pick one up in stores nationwide and online.

Use Argos' stock checker to find out if it is available in your local store.

Just be aware that if you're ordering online it'll cost from £3.95 unless you click and collect in store, which is free.

Another bargain paddling pool is Lidl's £14 version with a drinks holder.

Meanwhile, enjoy a drink while watching the children splash about at this bar with an in-built cool box that only costs £20.
