Woman leaves secret note in date’s bathroom to warn others of his ‘cheating’

A woman has left a secret "girl code" after suspecting her date was cheating on her.

Molly Sharpe, from US, said she did it as a way to "look out for other girls" after discovering some female items in his bathroom.

To share her warning on TikTok, Molly films inside the man's bathroom and picks up items like hairbands and a large pink-coloured makeup bag.

She opens it and finds it filled with makeup brushes, face wipes, and towels.

"I've seen him three to four times now and I was low-key snooping in his bathroom and I found some female products," Molly said.

"His room is single and I thought he was too. But if this is your man, he is cheating."

Molly uses one of the eyeliners she found and writes "if you're seeing/dating [the man's name], he's cheating!" on a piece of paper before slipping it inside the makeup bag.

She apparently confronted her date about the items she found, saying: "He got upset and defensive, says he's single but won't explain the products.

"I don't know if it's a girlfriend but still suspicious so haven't seen him since."

Viewers called Molly's move a "genius idea".

One shared her experience: "Always snoop in his bathroom! All my ex-es that have cheated have stashed all my things under the sink!"

"This is so smart," another praised. "All you girls should do this! This is girl code y'all!"

Some defended the man and said the items could belong to a female guest, adding "or his ex didn't take all her stuff".

"Hoping it's just his cousin or sisters," a second wrote. "I often leave necessities at my male relatives' house so I don't have to worry about packing."

But Molly confirmed that there were not any hairbands on the bathroom counter the first three times she visited.
