Brian May wrote Queen song Who Wants To Live Forever for the band’s iconic A Kind of Magic album back in 1986. The track famously featured on the soundtrack for immortal movie Highlander too. And now, the 74-year-old has put the song to a stunning animation calling for climate action to protect wildlife around the world.

COP26, the UN Climate Change Conference, is currently taking place in Glasgow, Scotland this week.

So Brian May has released the new music video via his Save Me Trust, which aims to give animals a voice, calling on world leaders to take climate action and protect wildlife.

In a statement, the Queen guitarist said: “This incredible video created by students from all five continents shows the devastation our precious planet faces.

“On a 24 hour clock humans arrived here at just two seconds to midnight yet we have unleashed immense damage and destruction on the natural world.”
