J Lo and Alex Rodriguez address split rumours as they ‘work through things’

Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez have confirmed they are still together, putting any rumours of a split to bed.

The showbiz sweethearts, who got engaged in 2019, were plagued by rumours they had cancelled their engagement and ended their relationship.

However, now J Lo, 51, and A-Rod, 45, have denied the rumours, confirming they are still together but "working through" problems in their relationship.

The couple told TMZ: "All the reports are inaccurate. We are working through some things."

According to the publication, Jennifer and Alex also confirmed the issues in their relationship are not related to a third party.

Baseball star Alex is said to be currently based in Miami, while Jennifer has travelled to the Dominican Republic to shoot a new film, which is titled Shotgun Wedding.

The sweethearts started dating four years ago, with Jennifer, and her children from a previous relationship, eventually moving into his Miami mansion as they took their romance to the next level.

Situated in Florida city's Coral Gables area, Alex bought the property in 2013, before falling head over heels for the Maid In Manhattan star.

Major League Baseball legend Alex popped the question two years ago while strolling along the beach at sunset, stealing a moment to get down on bended knee.

While the lovebirds planned on getting married in 2020, their plans were put on hold due to the coronavirus outbreak, cancelling for a second time later that year.

Speaking out on their wedding plans in December, J Lo said: “We had to cancel the wedding … because of COVID, because of the quarantine. And we actually did it twice, which people don’t know.”

The Jenny From The Block songstress has been married three times – her first wedding was with Cuban actor Ojani Noa, with the couple calling things off after one year.

In 2001, she wed actor and choreographer Cris Judd, who fell for the starlet when he was hired to direct the music video for her song Love Don't Cost A Thing.

Jennifer's longest, and most high-profile marriage was to Marc Anthony, which fizzled out after 10 years.
