Jesy Nelson 's boyfriend Sean Sagar has broken his silence following the shock news that she has left Little Mix.
Jesy, 29, confirmed to fans earlier this week that she is no longer part of the girl group after making the difficult decision to quit.
Her open and honest statement read: "To all my Mixers, The past nine years in Little Mix has been the most incredible time of my life.
"We have achieved things I never thought possible. From winning our first Brit Award to our sold out shows at the O2.
"Making friends and fans all over the world I can't thank you all enough form the bottom of my heart for making me feel like the luckiest girl in the world.
"You have always been there to support and encourage me and I will never ever forget it."
She went on to reveal the reason behind the decision to quit the band.
"The truth is recently being in the band has really taken a toll on my mental health. I find the constant pressure of being in a girl group and living up to expectations very hard.
Jesy Nelson's net worth set to soar if she goes solo in 2021 after quitting Little Mix
"There comes a time in life when we need to reinvest in taking care of ourselves rather than focusing on making other people happy, and I feel like now is the time to begin the process."
And on Wednesday, Sean took to his Instagram Story to post a video about not being afraid to fail.
The short clip featured US TV presenter Steve Harvey talking about how you can learn from failure.
Steve said in the video: "You don't succeed more than you fail, that's not how it works.
"Do you know why? Because failure is a wonderful teacher. It's the only way to learn, you have to fail.
"Failure's part of the process to becoming successful," he added.
His cryptic post comes after Little Mix fans begged Our Girl actor Sean to take care of singer Jesy as she embarks on a new chapter in her life.
One wrote: "Pls take care of our Queen," while another said: "Please take care of her."
"PLEASE TREASURE HER," a third added.
