Love Islands Malin Andersson shares topless snap as she opens up on mum guilt

Love Island star Malin Andersson has logged into her Instagram account to share a topless snap with her followers.

The 29-year-old star welcomed daughter Xaya in February this year.

She's currently in Spain and opened up about feeling "mum guilt" in her honest post.

Alongside the snap, where Malin can be seen wearing just yellow underwear, the TV personality penned a lengthy caption.

In the same post, Malin discussed her split from her boyfriend Jared, who she shares Xaya with, after announcing their break-up in March.

"Mental reset," Malin wrote alongside a photo of herself stood her hotel balcony.

"It's been a crazy four months since Xaya has been here… and I fall in love with her more and more every minute.

"I just didn't realise how hectic my life has become. How busy I am. Here's the thing – I have never been away from her the past 13 months (including pregnancy) and the fear was real taking this two-day trip to Spain."

She added that the "guilt then came kicking in", adding: "Is two days too long without her? Will she remember this? My mind literally does a madness it's crazy.

"But then I remembered she needs a happy mumma. With mum's happiness comes baby's happiness."

Malin, who appeared on the second series of the ITV2 dating show in 2016, then spoke openly about her recent heartache, saying that her psoriasis had come back due to stress.

"My break up with Jared was hard – I'm not even gonna lie to you all," she added.

"It broke my heart. It still does. My psoriasis only ever comes back when someone has died in my life.. and it came back this month.

"Grieving over someone alive is a very real thing. I think I put everything into Xaya and just numbed my feelings. She took the pain away from me.

"But that's why it's important to remember we aren't superhuman.

It's f***ing important to put yourself first and do what ya gotta do to bring that mental clarity back… and that high-vibing energy."

She concluded: "When was the last time you actually did something for yourself? This is your sign to do it."

In the past, Malin has also shared her journey of losing a child with her followers.

In 2019, she revealed the heartbreaking news that her one-month-old daughter Consy had passed away.
