IT has been a highly-charged week for Leanne and Nick on the Coronation Street cobbles this week following Damon's latest drugs terror.
Now fans of the ITV soap have predicted that an affair twist may be on the cards between two unlikely characters.
On Monday, fans watched on in horror as a gun siege took place at The Bistro as a result of Damon Hay running his drugs through the restaurant much to the ultimate displeasure of Nick (Ben Price) and Leanne (Jane Danson).
Two masked men rushed the premises while Ryan Connor (Ryan Prescott) was behind the bar as young Sam Blakeman watched on.
As Nick, Leanne and Damon stormed in, the villain managed to tackle the pair down.
The events had taken its toll on everyone involved with it surprisingly throwing up some major emotion for Ryan.

During the latest instalment, viewers watched as Ryan and Leanne enjoyed a heart-to-heart leading to predictions that there could be romantic sparks brewing between the boss and the hunky barman.
The incident forced Ryan to confront where he was at in his life after having unsuccessfully attempted to revive his once thriving DJ career over the past year.
A tearful Ryan said: "I'm going to die a waiter in Weatherfield.
"I'm going to die 10 minutes from where I was born, on my own and I haven't done diddly squat worthy enough to post on my socials."

Leanne was quick to reassure him as she offered him a shoulder to cry on as she remarked: "Everybody loves you."
The emotionally-charged scene had fans minds racing as they became convinced it was the perfect beginning to a possible love story between the pair.
One fan said: "Leanne & Ryan. Possible."
Another also simply added: "A Leanne and Ryan affair?"
As a third commented on their bond: "I like how Leanne comes across like a mother figure to Ryan especially as Michelle and Leanne didn't always see eye to eye."
Whilst a fourth pleaded for Ryan: "Aw Ryan – someone adopt him and take him on holiday."
At the end of the episode, there was shock as Leanne and Sam agreed that Nick should move out for a while following his betrayal, leading to Leanne and Nick's relationship hanging bythread.
Could this be the perfect set up for Leanne and Ryan to take their romance to the next level?
