Death in Paradise has had many iconic guest stars over the years and four different detectives on the island of Saint Marie. In 2019, Josephine Jobert announced she was leaving Death in Paradise and her last episode was Beyond the Shining Sea: Part Two but who guest-starred in the episode? Express.co.uk has everything you need to know.

Beyond The Shining Sea: Part two is the eighth episode in season six of Death in Paradise.

The episode originally aired in February 2019 and is one of the show’s most memorable episodes to date.

This is because it was the last episode Josephine Jobert starred in as Florence Cassell.

Thankfully, Jobert is reprising her role in the upcoming tenth series and fans have been re-watching her last moments on the show ahead of her return.

In Beyond the Shining Sea, Florence decided to leave the island of Saint-Marie behind after her husband-to-be, Patrice (played by Leemore Marrett Jr) was murdered.

Sadly, Patrice was shot dead as he was a witness to Florence being shot in the stomach.

The synopsis for the episode reads: “In this second episode of a two-part episode, Jack (Ardal O’Hanlon) and his team face the toughest challenge of their lives when tragedy strikes close to home.”

Jobert starred alongside the show’s main cast, Ardal O’Hanlon, Tobi Bakare, Shyko Amos, Elizabeth Bourgine and Don Warrington, in the episode.

But they were also joined by a star-studded guest line up. Express.co.uk has everything you need to know about the cast of Beyond the Shining Sea: Part Two.
