Replacing longtime Bachelor host Chris Harrison, fans are curious about Palmer's background.
Who is Jesse Palmer?
TV personality and athlete, Palmer is no stranger to the spotlight.
Palmer has hosted on programs such as ESPN, DailyMailTV, The Food Network, and other ABC reality dating series, The Proposal.
Born on October 5, 1978 in Toronto, Palmer was the first ever athlete, out-of-country participant, and at the time youngest person to ever be the star of The Bachelor.
His season aired in 2004, and his final rose was given to Jessica Bowlin, although the two later broke up.
It was announced on Tuesday, September 28 that Jesse Palmer would be the newest host of the upcoming season of The Bachelor.

Did Jesse Palmer play in the NFL?
Palmer was a football player at the University of Florida between 1997 and 2000. In 2001, Palmer was drafted by the New York Giants.
Palmer played for the Giants from 2001 to 2005, when he was cut from the team. Palmer went on to train with the Minnesotta Vikings and Oakland Raiders for the 2005 season, and ended up being signed by theSan Francisco 49ers. However, Palmer never ended up playing a game for any of these teams.
In 2007, he officially retired from his football career and went on to become a broadcaster.
What happened to Chris Harrison?
Chris Harrison, host of The Bachelor for over 50 seasons, announced he was leaving the franchise in June 2021.
Harrison came under fire after he defended former Bachelor contestant Rachael Kirkconnell.
Kirkconnell was revealed to have attended a plantation-themed party when she was in college.
Chris Harrison defended Rachael in an interview with another Bachelor star, Rachel Lindsey, stating "we all need to have a little grace, a little understanding, a little compassion".
Harrison was replaced by former contestants Tayshia Adams and Kaitlyn Bristowe as co-hosts in 2021.
