Suffice to say Chelsea Fox (Zaraah Abrahams) gets her fight and strength from mum Denise (Diane Parish) in EastEnders.
Need we remind you that back in the day, Denise overcame a horrific ordeal when Lucas Johnson (Don Gilet) told her children she was dead when in actual fact, he was holding her hostage in the basement of the house next door.
The Fox family know how to stand up for themselves, and for Chelsea, she could be forced to put up a fight soon when she discovers Gray Atkins is a murderer.
As the net closes in, Whitney (Shona McGarty) will work out Gray killed his wife, Chantelle.
With Chelsea happily planning her marriage, Whitney puts all focus on her friend as she becomes fearful Gray could murder her next.
However, as Zaraah Abrahams recently explained, there’s a chance Chelsea could save herself from the life-threatening situation:
‘I think she’s this sort of person where if someone is trying to murder her, they’d better run! She would fight with her mouth, whatever is closest to her, I don’t think she’d go down lightly.’
‘I think she does love him’, Zaraah adds, discussing how quickly things have progressed between Chelsea and Gray.
‘I think she’s fallen in love with him and not only that, but she’s also fallen in love with being that unit and being that team. It’s probably muddled in her head, but I think she’s ready to be in love with him.
‘At first, she wants a big wedding and is getting carried away, but then she does a U-turn and she decides they need to be grownups about it all. She is feeling organised, focused, and she’s looking forward to it.
‘She’s looking forward to leaving the selfless, erratic Chelsea behind and being a good wife, and a good mum, and spending money that is not hers!’.
Oh Chelsea, if only you knew!
