Emmerdale bosses promise ‘explosive’ week on the soap as Graham is killed off in murder plot – The Sun

EMMERDALE bosses have promised an explosive week of episodes as Graham Foster is killed off in a murder plot.

The Sun Online exclusively revealed yesterday how Kim Tate’a former henchman will be dramatically murdered in a huge whodunnit storyline.

Now the soap has confirmed the news with a special week of episodes in January seeing individual suspects have entire episodes devoted to their motives.

Producer Laura Shaw said: “Graham’a murder will form part of an unmissable week of drama packed full of exciting twists and turns.

“It’s always exciting to step outside of our usual story-telling style and viewers will be on the edge of their seats as some of our villagers have their lives irrevocably changed forever.

“Graham has been a huge character at the heart of some of our biggest storylines so it felt only fitting that he left us with an enormous, explosive baby to kick off what promises to be a massive year of drama for Emmerdale.”

The decision to kill off the character came when actor Andrew told bosses he was quitting the soap after two years.

Viewers have watched over recent months as Graham has turned on his boss and former lover Kim.

He found happiness with vet Rhona Goskirk and discovered he could be Millie Tate's biological father after a one night stand with Andrea.

He even changed his will to leave everything to Millie in the event of his death.

It was also recently revealed how Graham was Kim's secret husband after the couple wed before she went to prison to give him control over her business empire.

He has demanded half of her vast fortune as payoff for leaving the village, and Kim has already shown her willingness to kill members of her own family when she ordered Graham to kill Joe Tate.

An insider exclusively told The Sun Online: "Bosses have spent months weaving in little details that will give viewers hints about who really killed Graham and why.

"It's going to be explosive and definitely one to watch."

Emmerdale airs weeknights on ITV at 7pm with a second Thursday episode at 8pm
