Emmerdale spoilers – Fans in shock as soap reveals ANOTHER murder for Meena; plus Coronation Street & EastEnders news

EMMERDALE revealed another Meena murder this week – and it left fans shocked as her fate was finally disclosed.

The serial killer made the shock revelation after her attempt to take over the court was interrupted by armed police officers.

And it certainly left fans on the edge of their seats as they took to Twitter to predict what could happen in coming scenes.

One person wrote: "Well I dunno what to say. I mean she’s absolutely crazy but she was so funny. The murder trial was utter b****x and the police took forever day to go look for Meena.

Another said: "The Meena murder spree was a stretch but this trial episode is an absolute farce!! Please let this be the bloody end of it."

While a third predicted: "I think Meena will escape prison and comeback and cause mayhem and murder for the 50th anniversary".

EastEnders Lorraine Stanley unrecognisable in movie with Tom Hardy

Despite her appearing in EastEnders before giving Karen Taylor life, (notably appearing in the show's Pat and Mo special in 2004), many viewers weren't yet familiar with Lorraine's acting chops.

However, Lorraine is an experienced actress on both the small and silver screens.

Her TV credits include appearances in Call the Midwife, Holby City, Casualty, The Bill, and London's Burning.

As mentioned above, Lorraine has also played in numerous films in the likes of London to Brighton, Made in Dagenham and Suffragette.

But perhaps one of her most surprising jobs was in 2015, when the soap star appeared in the biographical crime thriller Legend, in which A-list actor Tom Hardy played twins Ronnie and Reggie Kray, two of London's most dreaded gangsters.

While she already looked drastically different in Call the Midwife as Pearl Winston, Lorraine, once again, was unrecognisable in the film while she traded Karen's iconic messy top bun for the role of a barmaid at the Blind Beggar pub.

in January, 2020, Lorraine showed off a snap from the set of Legend.

Back then, Lorraine was smiling whilst in character and right next to Tom Hardy aka thug Ronnie Kray.

Corrie’s Rula Lenska breaks down on DNA Journey

CORRIE legend Rula Lenska breaks down as she makes a shocking discovery about her great aunt in an emotional episode of DNA Journey.

Countess Rula, 74, was joined by her co-star and friend Dame Maureen Lipman, 75, to explore their DNA journeys in the heartwarming ITV show on Tuesday.

As the famous friends – who met on Coronation Street – travelled to Warsaw in Poland, Rula came to a startling discovery about Rula’s great aunt.

An emotional Rula broke down in tears after finding out her great aunt helped an orphanage escape the Warsaw ghetto in 1940.

The historian and genealogist guide explained to Rula the history of her family during the time of the Warsaw ghettos.

They learned that more than 400,000 Jews, nearly a third of the city’s population, were forced to live in the conditions, enclosed by a 10-metre wall and barbed wire.

Anyone who tried to escape was shot on sight, and a quarter of the civilians died of starvation and disease.

Rula’s great aunt, Maria Hutten-Czapska, was a member of an underground movement helping to rescue Jewish orphans imprisoned inside.

Emmerdale fans seriously distracted by string of blunders

Emmerdale residents were in court again during last night’s trip to the Dales as Meena Jutla’s trial continued.

But viewers of the ITV soap were quick to point out a string of blunders on social media.

Manpreet Sharma (played by Rebecca Sarker) took the stand last night, ready to testify against her sister Meena (Paige Sandhu).

The village GP told the court how the serial killer kept her hostage and fed her a cocktail of drugs during her captivity, before confessing all of her crimes.

Meanwhile, Meena was taunting her older sister, determined to destroy her publicly – which led to viewers questioning why Manpreet was even present at the trial.

Many soap fans turned to Twitter to express their scepticism.

“Manpreet is so traumatised, why is she being asked to give evidence in the courtroom where her torturer is and not by video link?”, one viewer wrote.

They added: “Also where is Vinny he would be much better placed to give evidence than Manpreet!”

There was an alleged bust up, which saw Simon being thrown out by bouncers, and ushered into the police vehicle.

        Fans spot huge clue

Emmerdale fans have spotted a huge clue which proves Andrea Tate is still alive and has been working with Leyla Harding to take down Meena Jutla.

Andrea is believed to be dead after she was attacked in the maize maze in October 2021.

However, her dead body was never seen on screen, so some viewers of the soap are convinced she is still alive and think she could have laid low until it’s time to prove how evil Meena is.

One fan wrote: “Yes, I know Meena’s trial will be very serious and difficult. …

“Also, this whole Meena/prison guard thing won’t go far – somebody is gonna catch them. Also pretty sure Leyla is working for Meena/Andrea.”

Another chimed in saying: “Next week looks so good it’s finally Meena’s trial hopefully it’ll be the end of the line for her and she’ll finally go down for her crimes.

“Meena has got away it for long enough. I think Andrea is really Alive and will come back as a shock twist to take the stand #Emmerdale.”

While a third said: “Anyone have any theories about who Leyla was on the phone to in @emmerdale there’s something telling me Andrea is alive.

“The whole Charles& Manpreet thing at her grave, Manpreet saying Meena “won’t know what’s coming” then someone leaving Hazel’s in a hurry?”
