Victoria (played by Isabel Hedging) has been suffering unimaginable trauma on Emmerdale in recent weeks following the Big Night Out which saw her raped by Liverpool newcomer Lee (Kris Mochrie).
Things got worse when Victoria discovered she was pregnant as she initially lost the support of her older brother Robert Sugden (Ryan Hawley).
Thankfully, the father-of-one managed to turn things around, but then he plunged headfirst into seeking revenge against the man who abused his sister.
Victoria was furious with Robert, and was determined to both keep the baby and move on from her trauma with Lee on the ITV soap.
But in upcoming episodes, things are set to take an even darker turn as Lee’s mother Wendy goes after Victoria out of anger for her claims against her son.
Victoria meets the woman when she suddenly bumps into her in the Woolpack toilets, and it’s not long before Wendy reveals her identity to the on-duty chef.
The newcomer, played by Susan Cookson, accuses Victoria of “lying” about Lee raping her, unaware she is carrying his child.
Terrified but fighting to hold her ground, Victoria tries to stand up to the vicious woman, but it falls on deaf ears.
Wendy isn’t interested in hearing Victoria’s side of the story, and is convinced her beloved son is innocent.
Luckily Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) suddenly appears and warns Wendy off her employee, having been raped and abused herself years ago.
Emmerdale continues tonight at 7pm on ITV
Caught off her guard, Wendy realises Charity isn’t one to be messed with, and abruptly leaves the pub.
But everything changes the next day when Wendy returns with her son in tow, striding through the village in search of Victoria.
Terrified and suffering flashbacks from the night Lee attacked her, Victoria struggles to move and he accuses her of putting up posters branding him a rapist, which were actually all Robert’s doing.
Lee lost his job for this, giving the character even more anger against Victoria.
Diane (Elizabeth Estensen) and Amy Wyatt (Natalie Ann Jamieson) do their best to support the survivor, who flees away from the scene.
Robert arrives and attempts to hit Lee but the others step in, and the rapist takes off towards Victoria’s cottage with his raging mum behind him.
Arriving at Mill Cottage, the pair try to force their way in through the door, and in devastating scenes Victoria crashes to the floor as she tries to run upstairs.
Diane catches up to the group and out of fear for the baby’s wellbeing blurts out Victoria’s pregnant.
Knowing how Victoria reacted to her brother getting involved, will Diane’s actions prompt further anger from the chef? And will she ever be able to get rid of Lee now he knows she’s pregnant with his baby?
Emmerdale continues tonight at 7pm on ITV.
