Antonia Gentry, who played the youngest one in the mother-daughter duo in Netflix’s Ginny and Georgia has spoken about what the second season of the hit show could have in store. Season one finished on a massive cliffhanger as Gentry’s Ginny runs away with her younger brother Austin (played by Diesel La Torraca) after finding out that their mother Georgia (Brianne Howey) poisoned their stepdad.

However, while Georgia might now be incriminated for murder, fans are more focused on finding out who she will end up with in the upcoming season.

In a recent interview, Gentry spilled some hints at who her mum will choose.

Amongst her choice of hunks, there are Mayor Paul Randolph (Scott Porter), restaurant owner Joe (Raymond Ablack), or Ginny’s father Zion Miller (Nathan Mitchell).

“Man, for Ginny’s sake, I say Zion, all the way,” Gentry told TVLine.

“But for my sake, as an audience member, Joe, for sure,” she admitted.

Joe has been a fan-favourite as well as the actress’s own pick: “He’s just such a sweetheart.”

As far as her own character’s love life is concerned, Ginny is also finding herself in a love triangle.

Throughout the season she was conflicted over choosing between her ex-boyfriend Hunter Chen (Mason Temple) and her new fling Marcus Baker (Felix Mallard), but it seems that nothing is off the table: “Honestly, I don’t know.”

“I feel bad for them all. Marcus always has the right thing to say,” said the actress. “If I were Hunter, I would just be kind of done with it.”

“I feel like they are better off as friends, maybe, than in a relationship with each other, just because Ginny really has so much she needs to figure out.

“With Marcus, he knows her secrets, and they have this really intimate friendship that is just different than the kind of intimacy that she has with Hunter.”

The actress then teased: “So I feel like, gosh, it’s just so complicated. If I were Hunter, I’d stay away from it all. That’s what I’m going to say.”

Fans have also been wondering where the teenager is headed with her younger brother.

But some have picked up on certain clues which may give out the answer.

In the scene where Ginny is seen getting her things together, she picks up the book her father Zion gave her on her birthdays a few episodes prior.

The book contained a coded message about Zion’s address, so the most likely start of season two will be Ginny heading to her father’s place.

Although Ginny’s destination seems clear, Gentry avoided sharing exact details on what to expect if the series makes its return.

A father-daughter reunion is likely since the show planted those clues.

However, the two siblings may not be heading straight to Boston, so viewers might have to brace for some drama as the kids try to figure out how to survive alone on the road.

In addition, it could be possible that once they reach their destination, Ginny will find that her father no longer lives there.

Ginny & Georgia is available to stream on Netflix.
