Good Morning Britain host Kate Garraway has given her taken on the Line of Duty final – admitting she was hoping the elusive H would turn out to be someone more powerful.
During Sunday night's long away finale, Ian Buckells was unmasked as the mystery officer who was known as H and pulling the strings of power of the OCG.
Speaking on Monday's edition of Good Morning Britain, Kate said: "I was so excited about it last night.
"I was worried it was a bit late but I got settled down and then I had a power cut so i event seen it but I have got to say from who is being reported, it is a bit dissipating who H turned out to be."
Explaining her reasoning, Kate continued: "I imagined he or she would be more senior."
Adding of Buckles, she said: "He is a buffoon. We were expecting someone else.
"I dunno, I expected someone more senior moving things about behind the scenes."
Insisting she is still a fan of the show despite the final, Kate added: "We are hoping for a series 7."

Taking to social media as Line of Duty wrapped up, many fans were also feeling deflated.
One fan wrote: "I can’t accept that ending I’m sorry I would of rather Kate Flemming had been H."
Another added: "Did they spend the finale budget on Jimmy Nesbit or something because this doesn't add up #LineOfDuty #LineofDutyFinale"
A third hit out: "I waited a whole week for that? #LineofDuty"
"I feel so bad for the actors because they love the show and the reaction will be terrible #LineOfDuty," a fourth added.
Asked if there will be another series, Line of Duty actor Martin Compston told the Shrine of Duty podcast: "The genuine answer is we don’t know.
"But that’s nothing different for us. Jed always takes his time."
He continued: "After a series, [creator Jed Mercurio] always takes a couple of months… I think he likes to take the emotion out of it and sit down and look at all that."
