Inside Happy Valley Ryan actor Rhys Connah’s life away from hit show | The Sun

RHYS Connah is best known for playing Ryan Cawood on the hit crime drama Happy Valley.

But it seems aside from his gritty role, the teenager has a very exciting life off screen.

Rhys is currently 16-year-old but he first made his debut at the tender age of eight when the show launched in 2014.

But aside from his time on the hit programme, the star has given his fans a real glimpse into his life away from the set.

Taking to Instagram, he regularly posts about his escapades with his friends.

Away from the showbiz world it seems he has an active social life with his many friends at school.

Rhys also has a pet iguana which he once described as: "
Coolest guy of 2021."

He also seems like he is into sports as he has been spotted wakeboarding at a local lake.

The actor previously showed off that he was in attandence at an Ed Sheeran concert.

Posting both a video and photo from the event he captioned his posts: "Waching Ed Sheeran."

Other places he has been to include trips at Disneyland Paris as he previously posted a picture outside the world famous castle.

The finale of the Happy Valley finale will revolve around Ryan's dad Tommy's showdown with Catherine.

It remains to be seen whether Ryan will run off with his dad to Marbella, or if he will see through his father's twisted games.

In the series, Catherine (played by Sarah Lancashire) is bringing up her daughter Becky's son.

She was always against the pre-established relationship between Becky and Tommy Lee Royce (played by Edward Norton).

Becky raped Tommy and Catherine never forgave him as she believed that is what drew her to suicide after she gave birth to Ryan.

But Ryan has been seeing his father in prison behind his grandmother's back.
