Tina Carter (Luisa Bradshaw-White) hasn’t had it easy as of late in EastEnders.
She’s facing a life in prison for the attack on Ian Beale (Adam Woodyatt) — in spite of the fact that she’s innocent.
She’s worried about what the future holds, and if that wasn’t hard enough, she’s not been getting along with Mick (Danny Dyer) as of late, who she loves dearly.
Yes, it’s been a tough couple of months for The Prince Albert manager, that’s for sure.
What does the future hold for her?
Is Tina leaving EastEnders?
Yes, Tina will be leaving, as actress Luisa Bradshaw-White confirmed earlier this year that she will be departing the BBC One soap.
She confirmed to Metro.co.uk earlier this year: ‘I just wanted everyone to know from me that I am leaving EastEnders at the end of the year!
‘After seven awesome years, it’s time for me to move on and get excited about other projects! I have had the most amazing time on EastEnders and will miss the cast and crew so much.
‘But I am also completely excited about the new adventures that await me.
‘It’s been an amazing ride. Being part of the 30th anniversary, the live eps, the Carter family, working every day with my best friends. Danny Dyer, Kellie Bright and Linda Henry, I love you more than anything in the world.
‘Thank you to all the amazing fans for your support and love of Tina. I have appreciated it so much. Keep watching – there’s lots of drama to come!’
Executive producer Jon Sen added: ‘Luisa has been a wonderful member of the EastEnders company for the last seven years. We will all miss her dearly but wish her well in her future endeavours.’
Does Tina die?
The way in which Tina exits remains unknown, and it doesn’t appear as if there is any reason to believe that she will die.
The character is currently in the frame for Ian’s attack, so it’s entirely possible that she will be sent to prison.
She had an altercation with the Queen vic landlord on the very same day in which he was attacked.
What’s more, it appears as if Gray Atkins (Toby-Alexander Smith) has set her up, after the pizza delivery guy — who could confirm her whereabouts on the night of the attack — claimed to have seen her entering the Queen Vic.
It’s certainly not looking good for Tina, but with Shirley having suggested that she go on the run given the evidence is stacking up, the question is: will she do so?
