Katie Price cancels New Year's Eve plans in Las Vegas with fiance Carl and pal Cami Li after swerving jail

KATIE Price has cancelled her New Year's Eve plans with pal Cami Li in Las Vegas after swerving jail over her drink and drugs car smash.

The 43-year-old was spared from serving time last week, instead receiving a 16-week suspended sentence following the crash in September.

Because of high profile of her court case The Sun understands Katie has ditched plans to see in the New Year with her former Celebrity Big Brother housemate – over fears she'll be turned away from the US.

A source said: "Katie planned to fly back out with Carl and party in Vegas with Cami to ring in the new year, but she's now telling friends she's ditched the idea because she's worried the court case was too high profile and it might stop her getting into the US.

"She doesn't want to fly all the way there only to be turned back. She's making other plans and wants to spend as much time with her kids as she can."

Katie and fiance Carl Woods visited Vegas last month and she wasted no time in hooking up with US TV star Cami.

The pair appeared in an Instagram live video together in which Katie insisted she and her children would be moving to Sin City.

Following last week's verdict, Katie released a statement to fans apologising for her actions.
