As the youngest of the Kardashian-Jenner family, Kylie Jenner has lived her life in the media spotlight. Her relationships haven’t missed that media scrutiny either. This is especially true with her romance with rapper Tyga because they started dating when she was so young. Did they end their romance on good terms?
Kylie Jenner’s relationship with Tyga
Jenner and Tyga met in 2011, at Jenner’s sister’s sweet sixteen birthday party when she was only 14 years old. Then, despite spending both Halloween and Thanksgiving together in 2014, they still insisted to the world that they were not dating. Jenner was then 17 years old, and Tyga was regularly spotted as her sidekick in her Instagram posts.
After dozens of rumors and taking heat over her being so young, the two finally appeared to be a real couple by 2015. In fact, Tyga even makes an appearance in the family holiday photos that year.
Eventually, the pair called it quits, but it seemed to be a friendly breakup. On an episode of Life of Kylie, Jenner admitted that she would always feel like she had a bond with Tyga.
“There was absolutely not one thing wrong with me and T,” she said. “…There was no crazy fight, we just decided—well, I decided– that I’m really young. I don’t want to look back in five years from now and feel like he took something from me when he’s really not that type of person.”

After Jenner and Tyga officially called it quits, she started seeing Travis Scott. Jenner and Scott welcomed daughter Stormi into their lives in 2018. Although, he can’t recall the names of all four of Jenner’s dogs when she puts him to the test in GQs quiz about her life, he does a pretty good job in convincing us he knows a lot about her.
“What color are my eyes?” She asks him, with her eyes closed. To which he responds: “Green, sometimes yellow.” His reward for getting it right? She hops off the chair and leans in for a kiss. “I love you!” They’re adorable.

Tyga is currently rumored to be dating one of Jenner’s former friends. The Instagram model Tammy Hembrow has been spotted around Australia in Tyga’s company and has been dancing backstage at some of his concerts. A rep for Tammy insists that they are just friends having fun and Tyga refuses to admit that the couple are actually dating.
This is a particularly sticky situation because Hembrow has been a long-time friend of Jenner’s and has even done some modeling for various Kardashian projects.
Tyga’s recent comments suggest they might not be on the best terms
They’ve been broken up for nearly two years but reporters cannot leave their relationship alone. In fact, Tyga keeps getting asked questions about how he feels about Jenner, if he misses her, and if their relationship ended on good terms.
Recently, Tyga took some ownership of Jenner’s successes in life, claiming that she is who she is today because of his influence. He mentioned he helped her with “a lot of stuff” before she launched her successful beauty product line.
He said: “I had a lot to do with all that, which I don’t need credit for. I don’t need to go online and tell people I did this and I’m the one helping her coming up with these colors and names on her…lip line. It was a lot of stuff.”
Fans of the couple jumped to Jenner’s defense when Tyga suggested he was responsible for many of the ideas on the launch of her lip line.
In one interview he was pretty upfront with his positive feelings about their relationship ending. Tyga claims he’s comfortable with how things ended between the two after their final break up in 2017.
“I’m not a bitter person…if we break up, we break up. We had a good time and kept moving, and we went our separate ways and we’re both doing good,” he said during an interview. Clearly, the rapper has moved on emotionally.
However, when he was asked if he missed Jenner at all, he let out a snicker. Tyga said, “Nah, I’m good. I’m good,” followed by a little more laughter. His nonchalance and scoffing at the idea leads fans to believe he might feel a little jaded by the situation after all.

On an interview with Good Morning Britain, Tyga refers to Jenner as a “mistake” and when questioned about their three-year relationship he is very clear in telling interviewers that he is no longer interested in talking about it. Kate Garroway and Adil Ray even pointedly asked him if he ever had any regrets about being on Jenner’s family show Keeping up with the Kardashians. “Nah”, he replied. “I don’t want to talk too much about it.”
It looks like the pair might not be on the best of terms.
