Love Island's Malin Andersson urges abuse victims to speak up as ex is jailed

Love Island’s Malin Andersson has shared horrific photos of her abuse as her ex-boyfriend is jailed for domestic violence.

The former reality star told her story on Instagram after speaking up against 29-year-old Tom Kemp, revealing months of physical and emotional abuse.

Sharing a photo of her neck and chin covered in bruises, Malin wrote: ‘JUSTICE HAS BEEN SERVED.

‘The last 2 years including my pregnancy have been absolute hell.

‘No one knows half of what I’ve gone through and I haven’t been able to say much due to an ongoing police investigation.

‘The father of my late daughter Consy has been jailed for only part of what he has done to me.’

‘I’ll be giving my account of what happened in the coming week,’ she concluded.

‘Thankyou for those that supported me, and those that called me a LIAR.

‘I am here to tell you – YOU CAN GO TO THE POLICE!’

Kemp was jailed for 10 months on Thursday at Aylesbury Crown Court after admitting assault occasioning actual bodily harm.

The influencer started dating Kemp in 2018, with the pair having a daughter together, Consy, who tragically died shortly after she was born prematurely in January 2019.

While never referring to him by name online, Malin finally spoke up with a series of photos last year detailing a string of horrific bruises and injuries, including a bloody nose and a bite mark on her cheek.

She later told The Sun: ‘It started with things being thrown in my face out of anger — food, bottles of water, whatever was in his hand, all out of anger.

‘He switched from zero to 100 within seconds. Once they think they can do that to you, it escalates.’

In the past months Malin has been open about her PTSD from the abuse, and has turned her Instagram into one of empowerment and body positivity.
