Maura Higgins' family and friends fear she'll be dumped from Love Island villa after they're banned from voting for her

MAURA Higgins' family and friends are desperate for the public to vote for her to stay in – because none of them can vote.

The brunette's loved ones are unable to support her because they're in Ireland.

Writing on the model's Instagram account, her team shared a photo of her and Tom Walker and explained: "Please vote to save these two! Maura’s friends and family can not vote as they are all in Ireland – she needs your support!"

The 28-year-old is at risk of being dumped from the island as all the couples go head to head tonight to see who will get the boot.

And it's all in the hands of the public.

But it's thought that the pair at risk the most are Danny Williams and Arabella Chi.

Viewers appear to not be on the side of the new couple after they joined forces which meant Yewande Biala was dumped from the villa.

One fan on Twitter commented: "Just to clarify… we getting rid of these two?"

Another wrote: "Please nobody vote Danny and Arabella."

While another added: "Finally. We have the power to vote off Danny and Samonella!"

But love may not be in the air for Maura and Tom.

Last night she learnt that Tom had been saying things behind her back and she's "doesn't tick all his boxes" following a chat with Anna, who got all the gossip from Jordan.

The Kim Kardashian lookalike was told: "He said that he feels that Maura is not his usually type and sometimes when she says stuff in the group, it makes him cringe a bit which sort of puts him off her."

Maura later said in the Beach Hut: “I want to know what Tom said. To be honest with you, I don’t want to be sharing a bed with someone that might have talked rubbish about me.

"Something bad has been said, I know that for a fact and I’m going to find out.”

The pair have only just rekindled their budding romance after she put him in his place over that snarky remark about going into the hideaway together.

The 29-year-old model told the lads it'd be "interesting to see if she was all mouth" as he was on his way to spend the night with her in the hideaway.

But the ring girl seems to have a lot of support with fans commenting: "Maura is the only good thing about the show," and, "I think Maura deserves someone better then Tom!"
