My 600lb Life’s heaviest surviving patient unrecognisable after epic weight loss

The heaviest surviving star from My 600lb Life, Julius ‘JT’ Clark, looks totally unrecognisable after ditching nearly half his body weight.

The star tipped the scales at nearly 900 pounds – with a starting weight of 892 pounds (63.7 stone), making him the second heaviest star from the programme and the heaviest one to survive.

Julius was only beaten in starting weight by Sean Milliken in season four, who weighed in at 919 pounds (65.6 stone) but who sadly died in 2019 after losing more than 550lbs.

JT, meanwhile, was documented as eating three pizzas per day, followed by five sausages, three hamburgers and two orders of fries – plus peanut butter and ice cream for dessert.

Oklahoma native Julius appeared in the show in season eight in 2020, and managed to lose an incredible 400 pounds under the care of Dr Nowzaradan.

In addition to his battle with obesity, Julius was also suffering from a 100lb lymphedema mass – a blockage of lymph fluids – in his leg.

The star ended up at 491 pounds in the season’s final episode, and has remained mainly private since the end of his TLC journey.

He and his girlfriend Jessica sadly split after the show too, with many Reddit users calling JT out for the way he treated her – though it isn’t clear whether he found love again after the show finished.

However, in one unearthed picture posted to Facebook, JT appears to be looking a lot slimmer in the face, and can be seen with a trimmer jawline and serious expression as he gazed into the camera.

The star still wears his dark hair cropped short, but looks to be in a much healthier state than he was when he first appeared on My 600lb Life.

Though his Facebook updates are infrequent, JT does share some news with his fans – and in December 2022 sadly confirmed that he was “feeling depressed” as fans rushed to support him.

He added: “It hurts to say I miss you” – though it wasn’t clear whether he was referring to ex-girlfriend Jessica or someone else.

In January this year, he seemed to be feeling more optimistic, writing: “It is what it is,” on his profile.
