SHE has sent the Strictly romance rumour mill into overdrive, thanks to her sexually charged routines, and it’s not just the show’s fans who have clocked AJ Odudu’s sizzling chemistry with her hunky pro dance partner Kai Widdrington.
The pair have refused to confirm or deny that their connection is scoring top marks in the bedroom as well as the ballroom.
But it seems hunky fellas nationwide have decided they don’t stand a cha-cha-chance with the sexy telly presenter, who reveals she has not been approached romantically once during her time on the BBC show.
In an exclusive interview ahead of this weekend’s semi-final, AJ told The Sun: “Oh my gosh, my direct messages are dry.
“I’ve not had one direct message from a potential suitor, that is not happening.”
It’s hard to believe that after weeks of showing off her sensational figure on the Beeb’s flagship entertainment show she is not having to bat away plenty of advances from eligible men.
But the 33-year-old reckons she knows why any man who is interested in her might think twice now.
She added: “He’s witnessed me wrap my legs around Kai every single week!”
It’s a cheeky nod to the fact that the couple have not shied away from sexing up their Strictly performances.

And they have kept fans guessing over their relationship status, with unguarded moments captured on camera.
During movie week, microphones picked up Kai, 26, whispering “I love you so much” in AJ’s ear, and fans were sure they were moments away from sharing a kiss when the music stopped.

And after showing off their couple’s choice routine to Janelle Monae’s Make Me Feel, Kai was seen patting his partner’s bottom.
As the couple prepare to fight for a spot in the Strictly final, AJ didn’t hold back, declaring: “Kai’s funny, he’s kind, he’s patient and he’s going to be in my life for ever.
“We just have the best time. He’s a family man, he’s someone who takes care of his family, his friends. He’s a real gentleman. He really, really is.
“And I think that’s what’s beautiful about him as well. I feel like we share the same ethics, in the same way that I’m speaking to my mum before the show, he’s got his mum and dad on FaceTime and his grandad before the show, his brother.
“I kind of feel part of his family.”
Kai has certainly made AJ’s trademark smile even wider, but as well as a potential romance, the Blackburn-born telly star said dancing with the hunk has boosted her confidence.
She added: “Sometimes I feel really demure and classic and sometimes I feel really hot and sexy and sometimes I just feel really fun and free.
“It just all depends on the mood of the dance, and that’s one of the greatest things I’ve enjoyed.
“I exude so much confidence and each time I finish a performance I think, ‘Oh my gosh, I can’t believe I just did that. I can’t believe it’s me on that dance floor’.
“I get so overwhelmed and start crying tears of joy.”
She added that the show has also made her feel “limitless”, that she can succeed in anything she sets her mind to, and that it’s an energy she will take into future telly projects.
She said: “That is something I’m going to take away from this experience, where, when it’s time to go, even when you are really, really nervous and not feeling at your best, you can still go out there with your head held high and think, ‘I’m putting in a good performance’.
“Strictly is a really empowering experience.”
In a little over a week the nation will have crowned its 2021 Strictly champion, but while the competition might have ended, its glitz and glamour continues as the celebs and their pros hit the road for the show’s popular tour.
On their travels the couples will form a Covid bubble to allow them to socialise backstage — something they have been banned from doing by BBC bosses while the show is on air.
And after weeks of hard work, it’s safe to say they are ready to let their hair down.
So could life on the road look like a scene from the iconic 1987 movie Dirty Dancing, where Patrick Swayze’s character Johnny Castle led wild parties in the staff quarters at Kellerman’s resort?
AJ said: “Well, I’m imagining that! Me and a few of the other celebrities that have taken part this year, we’ve all been part of our couples so we can’t wait to just bond on tour and have the best parties.
“I think John (Whaite) is going to be pretty wild, and Ugo (Monye) as well. They are going to be a riot and I can’t wait.”
'STAYS ON TOUR'
She quickly added: “But what happens on tour will certainly have to stay on tour.”
For now, she and Kai are focusing their attention entirely on getting to the final next weekend, and with just two dances to go, they are daring to dream of lifting the iconic Glitterball trophy.
AJ said: “It would genuinely be everything. It would mean that the public have believed in me and it would mean so much for Kai as well.
“It’s his first year and I said at the very beginning, ‘I want to make your first year the year to remember, because I’m your first’.
“It would just be amazing, I would love it. I’m getting butterflies just thinking about it.”
AJ narrowly escaped the chop during last weekend’s show after the couple’s salsa almost ended in disaster when they failed to pull off a lift at the end of their routine.
It saw them plunge to the bottom of the leaderboard, and after ending up in the dance-off against Dan Walker, the pair were only saved by the judges.
It showed AJ that anything can happen on the night and made her even more determined to make sure she puts her best foot forward.
On the prospect of making the final, she said: “On live TV I’ve experienced that anything can happen. All I can do is practise and practise, but sometimes on the night, things happen. So who knows?
“It’s not just up to me, it’s up to the voting public. I’m hoping I can win. I believe in myself, I trust in Kai and I’m just really excited.
“I’ve got all of my fingers and toes crossed.”
