NCIS Hawaii is one of the most tropical editions of the hit CBS to ever air, with the team taking to the Pearl Harbour-based island to investigate a whole manner of crimes. It is groundbreaking in many ways, being the first spin-off to air outside of mainland America and a woman will be leading the team to crack the cases. However, which famous faces have made the cast list for the latest edition from the franchise?

Who is in the cast of NCIS Hawaii?

Vanessa Lachey as Jane Tennant

Best known for presenting numerous television shows in America, including Netflix’s Love is Blind, Vanessa will be taking on the role of Jane.

Tennant will lead the Hawaii-based team, having ensured she reached the top spot in a very male-dominated field.

The character will be explored in-depth as it’s been revealed Jane will be a single-mother, as well as managing her colleagues on the force.

Vanessa shared the news on her social media platforms, telling her Instagram followers: “Honoured is an understatement!

“To join the NCIS franchise as the first female lead and to do it on the Beautiful Islands of Hawaii. I still can’t believe it! Thank You CBS for believing in me! Now let’s get to work!”

Yasmine Al-Bustami as Lucy Tara

Having starred in shows such as S.W.A.T. and The Chosen, Yasmine is going to playing the role of confident team member Lucy.

The character is described as having a lifetime of achievement under her belt and a “youthful enthusiasm” which will be integral to the team.

She will join as a junior member, meaning she has a lot to learn about the job and the dangers which lie in store.

Yasmine will be channelling a determined youngster wanting results as Lucy is not afraid to go where Angels fear to tread.

Jason Antoon as Ernie Malik

Jason is known for his huge list of high profile film and television roles, including the American edition of Shameless, No Ordinary Family and Law and Order.

The esteemed actor will be playing the role of Ernie, who is a Cyber Intelligence Specialist and knows everything about Hawaii.

With no family, the character finds himself adopted by those he works with as they try to get answers on cases.

His intelligence allows him to find possible suspects through their digital fingerprints, making him integral to the team.

Noah Mills as Jesse Boon

Serving in the role of Special Agent Jesse Boon, Noah’s character will be making the move to Hawaii from the city.

Noah has also had a number of high profile roles, including in television roles such as The Enemy Within and The Falcon and The Winter Solider.

Film roles have included featuring in Sex and The City 2, Candyland and most recently, Santa’s Boots in 2018.

He is also well known for starring in Taylor Swift’s 2021 music video for her hit song, We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together.

Noah will play a homicide detective who likes to play things by the book and is a stickler for old fashioned policing.

Tori Anderson as Kate Whistler

Tori has been cast in the role of Special Agent from the Defence Intelligence Agency, Kate Whistler, who will make an impact on the team.

The actress has a huge catalogue of roles she has played, from featuring in the Twilight Zone and Smallville to Love Under The Olive Tree and Ransom.

She will be starring in a regular role on NCIS Hawaii and viewers will see her take on a more political approach.

However, as the series progress, fans will discover she is harbouring a few secrets of her own from her personal life.

NCIS: Hawaii will premiere on Monday, September 20 on CBS.
